Uniquely Characterized Units

Killearn Estate’s original design included distinctive units under its umbrella that would appeal to a variety of homeowners such as first-time home buyers, empty-nesters, retirees or single folks not looking for large homes or yards to maintain but wanting the quality of life Killearn has to offer. Throughout the years the units listed below, in chronological order of development, are similar to that originally planned design.

Kimberton

Development began in the early 1970s with a large percentage of lakefront lots and larger homes with above average home prices. Kimberton is located on Shamrock North.

Kilrush Townhomes

Development began in the mid 1970s. Townhomes are located on Shamrock North and Tyron Pass, the tree-lined lane to Killearn Golf & Country Club, a short walk away.

Villages of Killearn

Development began in the mid 1970s with large Victorian homes and was built out with garden homes. This quaint unit with its tree lined winding streets and cul-de-sacs reminds one of a neighborhood from the past when all the neighbors knew one another. The Villages of Killearn is located off Shannon Lakes West.

Tree Harbour

Development began in the mid to late 1970s as Tallahassee’s first cluster-home development which provided a moderate price range home in Killearn Estates. Tree Harbour is located between Shamrock North and Shannon Lakes West.

Country Club Villas

Development began in the early 1980s for those who want to live the Killearn lifestyle with the convenience of townhome living. The Villas are a short walk along Tyron Pass to the Killearn Golf & Country Club.

Killearn Fairways

Development of these townhomes began in the early 1980s with some frontage on the golf course. The Fairways are located off Shamrock East just north of Barron Parc. Click here for more information about Killearn Fairways.

Pebble Creek

Development began in the mid-1980s of these upscale homes on small lots in a quaint unit nestled between Country Club Villas and the golf course. Pebble Creek is accessed by Edenderry Drive to the South or Tyron Pass to the north.

Steeplechase

Development began in the late 1980s where the riding club and stables were originally located. Steeplechase is located just north of the round-a-bout on Shamrock.

Gardens of Killearn

Development began in the late 1980s of single family homes. The main entrance at Gardenview Way, is off Shamrock South and runs through the center of the Gardens to its back entrance at Centerville Road. The unit borders the City of Tallahassee’s A. J. Henry Park.

Barron Parc

Development of these single family homes began in the early 1990s. Barron Parc is located off Shamrock East near Devlin Park.

Kenmare Commons

Development of these duplex townhomes began in the early 1990s and is accessible via Killarney Plaza Drive from Killarney Way just west of the roundabout or from Shamrock West.

Greens of Killearn

Development of these single family homes began in the early 1990s, and as the name implies, is bordered by the greens of the Killearn course. The Greens are located off Shamrock East and Kilmartin Drive.

Cameron Chase

Development of these single family homes began in the early 2000s and its entrance is located off Centerville Road, just south of Gardenview Way.
