To report any problems with alligators call the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission at 1-888-404-3922 (Wild life alert line). This is the regional office and they will dispatch a crew to assess the situation.

Animal control problems are reported to either the Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Shelter (for residents in the City) or the Leon County Animal Control Center (for residents in the County).

The city's Solid Waste Services department provides garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulky item collection services for Killearn Estates. For questions on your Solid Waste Service, call 891-4YOU (4968) or contact them via the Internet.
Leon County Mosquito Control services are available to all city and county residents. Direct services include inspections, larvicide applications, hand spraying, truck sprays and, where appropriate, placement of mosquito fish. Road Repairs (potholes)
The City of Tallahassee handles street maintenance, which includes pothole patching; curb & gutter repair; sidewalk repair; base repair; guardrail repair, bridge repair; utility cut repair and unpaved roadway maintenance. The City of Tallahassee handles any problems with street lights in the Killearn Area. If a light on your street is not working properly please contact the City of Tallahassee at 891-4968.
Street Sweeping is handled by the City of Tallahassee and includes sweeping of streets and parking lots. Sweeping of streets is accomplished through established routes throughout the City.
