2012 Officers

Bob Ippolito, President – Unit 3 Resident. Bob retired from Xerox Corporation as the Florida General Manager where he was responsible for developing and implementing Xerox’ marketing strategy for Florida State and Local Government and educational marketplace. He assisted local governments and school districts in implementing Total Quality Management processes. He also served on the Florida Quality Advisory Council; an information technology Adjunct Professor at Tallahassee Community College, as well as Chairman of their Office Automation Advisory Committee. Bob has a B.S. degree from York College and Masters and Doctorate degrees in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Bob and his wife, Mildred, have lived in Killearn since 1975 and raised 4 children here. He was also a board member of KHA in the late 1970s. Bob also serves on the Architectural Control Committee.

Allen Nobles, Vice President – Unit 37 Resident.  Allen has been a Tallahassee resident since 1964 and has lived in Killearn Estates since 1997.  He is a registered Land Surveyor in Florida and Georgia and is the president of Allen Nobles & Associates, Inc., a local surveying and engineering firm.  Allen is also an approved educational provider for the state of Florida and has served as an instructor for many professional associations in Florida and Georgia.   In addition, Allen has been a  State Officer for the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society since 2004; Past Chairman, Industrial Advisory Committee, Florida A&M University;  Approved education provider by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation;  Instructor for classes in Florida Minimum Technical Standards, GPS, State Plane Coordinates, Florida Law and LAMP/LiDAR mapping; Real Estate License – Florida; Has a PCA racing license and is a driving Instructor for PCA, Chin Motorsports and BMW driving schools. He has also served as an expert witness in legal proceedings and conducted seminars for professional legal associations.  Allen has two grown daughters and he and his wife, Pam, have a son, Jonathan. Allen is the chairperson of the Audit Committee. 

Christine DeLand, Secretary – Unit 12 Resident. Christine, a Killearn Estates resident since 2007, is originally from Southern California. She has 28 years experience in Real Estate investing and property management including large private multi-million dollar estates, up to 200 acres with tennis courts, stables, pools, water well systems, lakes and dams, in addition to large property development/management, aquatic habitat maintenance experience and forested property management. Christine is a licensed Florida Realtor, Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS) and an internet marketing specialist (e-PRO) currently with ERA Community Realty here in Killearn. Christine wants to see our lovely neighborhood continue to retain its current charm and is happy to serve in any way she can.

Bill Sittig, Treasurer – Unit 15 Resident.  Bill grew up in Killearn Estates and his parents still live in their house since 1973 on Castlebar Circle.  He and his wife, Jill bought their own house in Killearn in 2000 and live on Edenderry Drive where they are raising their two children, Lauren  and Jacob.  Bill attended and graduated from Leon High (Class of ’76!), Tallahassee Community College, Florida State University (Finance), and Florida Atlantic University (Accounting) in Boca Raton.  He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and has held responsible positions in banking, public accounting, not-for-profits and government for the last 26 years.  In 2007, he was named Managing Partner of the public accounting firm Jett & Sittig, PA, where he works with his partner Bob Jett providing professional tax, accounting and financial advisory services to a wide range of individual and business clients.  Bill is adept at understanding complex issues and providing sound solutions to those challenges.  He is a team player and consensus builder.  He believes in complete inclusion, allowing residents the time and space needed to address their concerns on an individual basis.  Bill and his firm are members in good standing of both the American and Florida Institute’s of Certified Public Accountants.  He is active in the Tallahassee Kiwanis Club, The Economic Club of Florida, and The Tallahassee Film Festival. 

Board Members

Lee Johnson – Unit 12 Resident. Lee is a graduate of Cornell University and owned and managed his own business for 25 years. He has served on several boards, including 28 years on a county planning board, 15 years on a hospital board and eight years on a multi-county visiting nurse board, ending his service as Chairman of the Board. His background and experience give him the ability to work effectively with various constituencies in a non-confrontational and productive manner. His experience includes planning in park development and other county matters. Lee has contributed to the continued success of the Killearn area since 2000. Lee chairs the Maintenance Committee as well as serving on the Architectural Control Committee. Lee and his wife have lived in Killearn Estates since 2004.

Joe Zollner – Unit 1 Resident.  Joe, his wife, Julie and their two children have lived in Killearn Estates since moving to Tallahassee in 2002 from Tampa where Joe was in private practice with a large insurance defense firm.  After a visit to Tallahassee in 2001, Joe and Julie were taken by Tallahassee’s charm and all it had to offer and decided it would be a great place to raise a family.  Joe was born and raised in Illinois but spent a lot of time in Florida visiting both his paternal and maternal grandparents.  He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois in 1982 and following college, went to work for Allstate Insurance Company.  While working for Allstate, he attended law school at night at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Joe obtained his J.D., cum laude, in 1998 and worked for Allstate as Staff Counsel.  Joe is an associate with Guy E. Burnette, Jr., P.A. where he practices primarily in the area of insurance related litigation.  He is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Illinois.  Joe is a member of the Tallahassee Bar Association and volunteers for Legal Services of North Florida, Inc.  Joe is currently chairperson of the Covenants & Restrictions Oversight Committee.

Philip Inglese – Unit 3 Resident. Philip and his wife, Kathryn, have lived in Killearn since 1984 when he relocated from his hometown of Hollywood, Florida. He recently retired after a career of nearly 39 years in Local Government Financial Administration. Philip has a BSBA in Finance from the University of Florida, 1969, a MBA in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, 1977, and Certified Public Accountant,1977. Philip is a member of the American Institute of CPAS, Florida Institute of CPAs and is a former member of Government Finance Officers Association US/Canada, Florida Government Finance Officers Association and the American Association of Airport Executives. Philip was a US Air Force Officer, Senior Accountant, City of Hollywood, FL; Deputy Director of Finance, City of Fort Lauderdale; Director of Finance and Asst Director of Aviation, City of Tallahassee, FL. His local government service included finance, accounting, budgeting, capital programming, utility service, billing, rates and charges, stormwater, aviation, transportation, Development of Regional Impact (DRI), and he was a former member for 10 years, one as Chairman, of the Capital Region Transportation Planning Agency-Technical Advisory Committee CRTPA-TAC. Both of his children were raised in Killearn; his son is a local physician and his daughter, a licensed dietician, lives in Deland, Florida. Mr Inglese believes his knowledge of local government operations would assist the Board in maintaining the quality of life of the Killearn community.

Michael Flemming – Unit 17 Resident. Michael is a 15-year resident of Killearn Estates, and raised his four children in our community. Michael has been a successful business entrepreneur in Tallahassee since 1984, and currently owns and operates three Tallahassee businesses. Michael also serves on the KHA Architectural Control Committee in his capacity as a State Certified Building Contractor and a State Certified Home Inspector. Michael is Past-President and a current Board member of Rotary International/Tallahassee Northside. Michael also currently serves on the Tallahassee Builders Association's Governmental Affairs Committee and Membership-Educational Committee. Michael is honored to serve KHA in a capacity that promotes and protects the beauty, safety and well-being of our Killearn community.

David Ferguson – Unit 40 Resident. David and his wife, Rosemary, reside on O'Brien Drive since 1993 with their two Scottish Terriers, Bonnie and Clyde. He retired from the Department of Transportation in 2003 after serving 30 years as their Statewide Director of Human Resources. Previously, he worked with both private and public employers including the Florida University System. David graduated from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, with majors in Business Administration and Economics. He also attended Northwestern University to study Journalism. After college, he served four years active duty in the US Navy achieving the rank of Lieutenant. In 2007, he was awarded the Roanoke College Medal for being the outstanding Alumni since his graduation. Currently, David volunteers as a Small Claims Mediator in the Leon County Courts, Hospice, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity and is a certified Ombudsman with the Department of Elder Affairs covering Assisted Living and Nursing Home facilities. He was previously President of the local St. Andrews Society and President of Clan Fergusson Society of North America for seven years. He currently serves as President of the Town Club of Tallahassee. Leisure activities include a little golf, mountain hiking and enjoying their second home on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. "Hopefully, I can assist the Board in maintaining Killearn as a beautiful place we all call home."
